If you’ve seen the recent news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, you’re well aware that Baton Rouge has recently risen to number one in the nation for AIDS case rates among major metropolitan areas. New Orleans rank has also climbed to fifth. While those numbers are sobering, the numbers and stories we want to share with you our “Report to the Community” to show that we are continuing to meet the changing needs of this epidemic and meet the challenges it presents, head-on. It is because of the support of so many that NO/AIDS Task Force continues to be a leader in the fight against HIV and AIDS and an asset to our community.
Our “Report to the Community” highlights recent accomplishments that would not have been possible without countless individuals help and support. We not only impact the overall health and well-being of our community, but we also impact people’s lives each and every day, often in ways that cannot be measured.
