AIDS Awareness and Volunteer Training Workshop

Attendance at this workshop is mandatory for all NO/AIDS staff, and anyone wishing to become a NO/AIDS volunteer . This full-day (8am-5pm) workshop is offered four times a year, usually on a Saturday. The sessions are conducted by Doreen Tollerson, Director of Volunteer Services at NO/AIDS, and cover a range of issues from the basics of HIV risk reduction, to the psycho-social aspects of the disease, transgender issues, and more. The curriculum always covers the basis but varies in session content from workshop to workshop.
